Meet Marie
Marie J. Retherford is a clinician who has spent most of her life involved with healthcare, first as a registered nurse (RN) and later as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), dealing with aspects of wellbeing. Her fascination with how we are designed as human beings to respond to the world around us, for surviving and thriving, lead to years of pursuing personal awareness. This included meditation, body therapies, education and academic trainings, learning from countless hours spent with people who were willing to share their journey with her, and time in nature enjoying activities like gardening, hiking or biking in the country.
Having the benefit of over 40 years working in mental health, she gradually formulated a way to speed up people’s transformation by giving them a reality-based understanding of what supports change physically, mentally and emotionally. By bringing together concepts from neuroscience and skills that foster empathy and the ability to communicate, her intention is to boost consciousness, one person at a time, so there will be an abundance of harmony and peace in the world.
